The case, in satinized stainless steel, measures 47mm.
It has a 3mm Plexiglass crystal,
a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 100 meters.
Movement is the Swiss manual-wind Panerai in-house caliber P3000 with 21 jewels,
21,600 vph and a power reserve of 3 days.
It features an Incabloc anti-shock absober and a Glucydur balance.
The movement has a distinctive structure with wide bridges,
two spring barrels which provide a power reserve of three days
and a balance wheel that measures 13mm.
This caliber has a rapid time-changing device that makes the hour hand jump forwards
or backwards one hour at a time, without interfering with the minutes hand.
The dial features the words "Luminor Panerai" engraved in the lettering of the time.
It is a sandwich structure formed of two superimposed plates enclosing a layer of SuperLuminova.
It comes on a natural, untreated leather strap, with a brushed steel buckle inspired
by the original model and it is supplied with a second rubber strap and a spare Plexiglas crystal

The remarkable simplicity of using the Regatta countdown function
is evidence of the excellence of the technical innovation achieved
by the new P.9100/R automatic chronograph calibre,
the movement of the new Luminor 1950 Regatta 3 Days Chrono Flyback Titanio.
An orange push-button at four o'clock moves the central orange chronograph
minute hand back one minute at a time, until it is at the correct position
in relation to the length of the countdown. On starting the chronograph,
by pushing the chronograph stop/start button at ten o'clock,
the relative hands begin to move, indicating first the minutes
and seconds which remain until the start, and then, when the countdown
has finished, the time elapsed since the start of the race.
