As the “Official Watchmaker” of Formula 1, Hublot is proud to present the first Tourbillon watch developed with and for Formula 1 World. In a limited edition of just 50 pieces,

the F1 King Power Tourbillon King Gold ceramic, 48 mm in diameter and

equipped with the tourbillon chronograph movement HUB7300,

features a 5 day power reserve, a special tourbillon cage and a balance

with an F1 brake disc decoration along the same lines as the watch bezel,

made from ceramic and with a circular satin finish in imitation of F1 brake discs.

The strap, stitched onto rubber, is made from Nomex, a synthetic fibre developed

The Confrerie Horlogere Hublot, the brand's highly specialised team

responsible for producing watch complications,

has unveiled a reinterpretation of the pocket watch

in the form of a gun cartridge, poetically christened "Liberty"

and housing a Tourbillon. The designers took their inspiration

from the concept of liberty to create an unusual Haute Horlogerie piece

symbolising at once power, luxury, aesthetic beauty and

the promise of escaping conventional interpretation.

Bell & Ross Instrument BR 01-92 Radar Limited Edition of 500 Pieces

The BR 01 Radar watch is inspired by aircraft cockpits,

where each instrument is a reference point in terms of legibility,

reliability and performance. Bell & Ross has borrowed the radar display

and adapted it to its watch, going beyond the concept of the traditional reading

of time:

• The hands and the dial merge onto a single plane. In their place,

three brightly coloured line segments are placed on three independent

concentric disks. They indicate the hours, minutes and

seconds as the eye moves towards the centre of the dial.

• The glass of the dial resembles a target.

Two graduated perpendicular axes are superimposed on the disks

to indicate the time.

• To read the watch, each differently coloured line segment

refers to a unit of time: yellow indicates the hours, red the minutes

and green the seconds. The dial and the casing are matte black,

providing a simple contrast that increases the legibility of the watch

Movement is the Swiss automatic ETA caliber 2892 with 21 jewels.

The case, in black PVD stainless steel, measures 46mm.

It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 100 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Girard-Perregaux in-house caliber 09600

with 31 jewels, 21,600 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours.

The carriage is mounted with gold adjusting screws, and is chamfered

and polished by hand, as are the escapement and pallet bridges.

The tourbillon bridge is fashioned in an unusual shape called "bassiné",

with rounded arms.

Its aesthetic qualities focus on the essentials of the design:

the perfection of the finishes and readability of the functions of a watchmaking classic,

enriched by a remarkable metal.Palladium is a rare metal from the platinum group,

with numerous qualities: more resistant to external damage than gold,

it is very pure, does not tarnish, needs no treatment and has a brilliant whiteness.

It is in perfect harmony with the elegance of the Girard-Perregaux 1966 collection,

revealing beautifully the clarity of the round dial.

The 38-millimetre case has been carefully polished to bring out the sheer brilliance

of the metal. A special finish on the bezel gives the piece an unparalleled sheen.

The clean design belies the complexity involved in the production of this watch.

From the movement comprising hundreds of components right up to the brilliant case,

each element was given meticulous attention.

The movement, like the case, is produced by the Manufacture.

It integrates the date and a small second, which are displayed at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock

respectively. The sapphire case-back reveals the self-winding mechanism,

which oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Based on a calibre with proven

Brought to life by its palladium case, the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Full Calendar combines

the functions and style of a great watchmaking classic, reworked in a unique metal.

This limited edition integrates a full calendar displaying the date, day of the week,

month and moon phases. Time moves fluidly around its perfectly-proportioned dial.

Accompanying the path traced by its fine, leaf-shaped hands, two windows placed

side-by-side at 12 o'clock display the day of the week and the month.

The moon follows its path at 6 o'clock, ornamenting the date indicator.

of the Manufacture's wide-ranging expertise.

Launched in 2006, the discreet elegance and superb craftsmanship

of the Girard-Perregaux 1966 collection quickly established it as an icon of the Brand.

The new model displays this classic spirit in both its style and functionality.

The clean lines of its 40-millimetre case disguise a sophisticated design

and production process. Its curvature and lugs have been carefully fashioned

to sit perfectly on the wrist. Designed in the Manufacture's workshops,

it has undergone meticulous finishing operations to reveal the brilliance of the precious

material - either pink gold or white gold.

In order to perfect the timeless design of this watch, Girard-Perregaux opted

Seiko Premier Collection & New Caliber

At Baselworld 2008, Seiko Watch will reveal an entirely new suite of designs

for the Premier collection, with new movements and new design refinements.

Premier was first launched in 2005.

The first of these new Premier watches, to be released to the market in June 2008,

is a new Kinetic Direct Drive timepiece, with a retrograde day-of-the-week display.

The Kinetic Direct Drive movement was first introduced in the autumn of 2007 in the

Velatura collection it features hand-winding capability and a long power reserve.

This new caliber is the Kinetic Direct Drive 5D44 (SRH).

This model will also feature a sapphire crystal and water resistance to 100 meters.
