Classique Hora Mundi in 950 Platinum with a Self-winding movement.
Three versions of the dial are available, each representing one part of the world:

the Americas, the European and African continents,

or Asia and Oceania – six references in all.
This watch’s most iconic complication, however,

is its instant-jump time-zone display system with synchronized date,

day/night and city indications, a world first for a mechanical watch.
This function allows the traveler to easily display the time in two pre-selected time zones, changing instantly from one to the other simply

by pressing a button, without disturbing the operation of the watch.
Changing the time zone affects not only the time, but also the date synchronized through a “tracking” calendar system – and the day/night indicator.
it is the first example of a mechanical timepiece

with an instant-jump time zone display.
All of the displays jump between time zones

with the push of a button.The concept is so intuitive,

one has to wonder why it has not been done before.
The Hora Mundi’s four patent applications claim 1)

a timepiece comprising a mechanism with two time zones, 2)

the display of a time zone on demand via the main set of hands, 3)

a programmable and reprogrammable mechanical memory wheel

for a timepiece, and 4) a mechanism for displaying a temporal

dimension by means of a dragging hand.
The sun and moon are made of solid gold yellow gold for the sun,

rhodium-plated yellow gold for the moon.
The cover for this disc, representing a cloud and bearing

the Breguet name and the watch’s serial number,

is also made of silvered 18K gold and engraved entirely by hand.

off-centered at 12 o’clock. Openworked hand-wound movement,

entirely engraved by hand, with Tourbillon regulator.

Running seconds on the tourbillon carriage at 6 o’clock,

itself secured by two sapphire crystals. Sapphire-crystal caseback.
