Deep Blue Aqua Expedition

The case, in stainless steel, measures 45mm x 16mm with 24mm lugs.

It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire luminous bezel inlay,

a helium-release valve, and it is water resistant to 1,000 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Sellita caliber SW-200 with 26 jewels, 28,800 vph

and a power reserve of 38 hours.

The hands are covered in SuperLuminova, as are the hour markers.

The indeces are raised Orange or Blue.

Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon 6002

Patek Phillipe has released a new edition of the Sky Moon Tourbillon called the Ref 6002

which indicates the moon phases instead of moon age and features apertures

instead of hands for the day of the week  month and leap year displays.

 The latest edition also differs from the Ref 5002 its intricately hand engraved

white gold case and hand enamelled dial.

The case is hand carved from a white gold blank and each ornamental element is engraved

by hand, including the directional arrow on the 4 o’clock crown

and astral motif on the 2 o’clock crown, which adjusts the celestial functions of the back dial.

Also contrary to the Ref 5002, the indications of the perpetual calendar are displayed in apertures:

the day of the week at 9 o'clock, the leap year cycle at 12 o'clock, the month at 3 o'clock,

and the moon phases at 6 o'clock.

The front dial is crafted from a thin disk in gold, milled until the railway track scale

the surrounds of the dial centre, calendar apertures,

and moon-phase display stand out in relief.

This is followed with the champlevé enamel

which is hand applied to the recesses around the relief contours.

The centre of this dial is decorated with cloisonné enamel, contours of the blossoms

and leaves are shaped using flattened gold wire and the separate cells

are filled with enamel in varying shades of blue.

Other developments can be seen with the moon phases being removed in place of moon age.

Patek Philippe 5102 G Celestial Sky -  Factory Sealed

The Celestial depicts the night sky as it appears over Geneva Switzerland.

The astronomical display utilizes a system of rotating sapphire plates,

which turn at different speeds and are layered,

to reproduce the relationships of the various celestial bodies at various times.

The watch also indicates moon phase.

Patek Philippe reports calculating 25 trillion "ratio combinations" to arrive

at the most accurate possible system for measuring the movement of the stars.

Case is 18k White gold with dimensions of 43mm wide by 10mm thick.

The case sides are embossed with the Calatrava Cross, to very nice effect.

Sapphire crystals front and back. Crown at 2 o'clock sets the time and winds the watch.

The crown at 4 o'clock is for setting the astronomical display.

Dial is blue and displays the aforementioned information.

There is an elliptical window which is marked with the cardinal directions

for orienting the celestial display to true north.

The roman numeral elaborated minutes and hours chapter at the dial's edge.

with 45 jewels and 301 individual, hand-finished parts.
