The Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Automatic Yellow Gold 5159G

has one of the most interesting and complex movements to be found in any Patek watch.

The 5159J unites a number of Patek Philippe's traditions: the perpetual calendar

with retrograde date and the officer's style case.

In addition to its rare perpetual calendar complication, the Patek Philippe 5159GJ

features a mechanical automatic movement; moon phase display; center seconds hand;

and 38mm, 18k white gold case on a brown alligator strap with an 18k white gold

deployant clasp.The 5159J's retrograde date function is composed of a hand

that progresses along a 240 degree arc between the 8 and 4 o'clock markers

denoting the date of the month. On midnight of the last day of the month,

the hand automatically jumps back to the first of the month and starts the cycle again.

Patek Philippe 5207 P Quantieme Perpetual Tourbillon Repetition Minutes

Patek Philippe presents a new grand complication in platinum

with a minute repeater, tourbillon and instant perpetual calendar with original windows,

for which two patents are pending.
The instant changing of all the date displays is a supplementary complication

comprising 212 interacting components.

This new exploit took more than five years to develop and

is one of the brand’s most complicated wristwatches.

Only a few will be produced each year.

Movement is the hand-wound Patek caliber RTO27PSQI,

a minute repeater with tourbillon, COSC-certified as a chronometer

and with the Geneva Seal mark. The case, in platinum, measures 41mm.

It has a sapphire crystal and sapphire display back (comes also with a solid back)
